For those who want to enjoy both art and good food in the autumn, we recommend this tour of the Hoki Museum. Take a guided tour around the unique building, which has received multiple awards such as the Japan Institute of Architects Grand Prix, and view approximately 150 realist paintings while listening to anecdotes of the painting process and ways to enjoy the artwork. After the tour of the exhibition hall, you will proceed to the café inside the museum, where you will find a variety of designer chairs. Enjoy a relaxed and pleasant tea time with a small plate of Chiba snacks in a refined space.

The Hoki Museum’s standard collection features 150 realist paintings by approximately 50 modern Japanese realist artists.
