Come experience lotus leaf painting, only available here in Chiba!

Lotus leaf painting is nature art that makes use of real natural lotus leaves. You can create beautiful artwork just by painting what you feel on a canvas covered with lotus leaves. Helpful hints are described at article. Painting skills are not required, as the texture and color of the lotus leaves themselves will make the final product look like something that can be sold. You can take your finished craft home at the end of the day and use it as a part of your home interior decoration. The feeling of concentration while creating your work is also fun.

First choose a canvas and color combination to fit the imagery in your head

Once you have decided on the imagery, apply color to the canvas.

Finished the undercoat! Looks beautiful already

Then apply overcoats with different colors, put gold or silver with a sponge… paint and paint until you are satisfied!

Cover with varnish for preventing the color from fading and for adding another final touch.

I really enjoyed the feeling of concentrating to create the work and felt refreshed after!
Every time I added paint it got more character and looked better, and I liked how there was no way to make a mistake. It made me want to try using a variety of colors.
